We’re Eating What!?

In our preparation for Model UN we learned that a large portion of the population in Kenya eat a food called “CSB” which is a corn and soybean paste. One student looked up the recipe on YouTube, made the paste and brought it in to share. Descriptions included “sand”, “chalk”, and “the highest quality sawdust”.
It was quite a contrast to the Valentine’s treats we enjoyed later. It gave us all time to reflect on how lucky we are to have so much to eat.
